Description

The City seeks proposals from qualified consultants/firms to conduct a comprehensive staffing and service delivery study for all City departments. The purpose of this study is to provide an analysis of current and projected service needs over the course of the next 10 years, and to develop recommendations for City decision makers for the effective planning and deployment of staff resources to meet those needs while maintaining financial sustainability. Qualified firms will have an in-depth understanding of municipal government services, and will be comprised of a team with strong familiarity in each core function service area. This study is envisioned as a two-part process, with part one focusing specifically on public safety services (police and fire), and part two incorporating all other City departments and services. As such, the City welcomes proposals from firms that specialize in public safety for the first phase only, if interested.
