Description
The purpose of this specification is to establish an annual contract for the purpose of inspection and service of fire extinguishers. The Contractor will be required to inspect each unit, recertify the extinguisher, and refill it if needed, and/or repair it in accordance with the National Fire Protector Agency (NFPA) and the State of Florida. Annual testing, maintenance, servicing, and recharging must be performed by State certified, trained persons, having available the appropriate servicing manuals, proper tools, recharge materials, lubricants, and manufacturer’s recommended replacement parts, or parts specifically listed for use in the fire extinguisher.
