SWMP is issuing this RFI to solicit innovative solutions that support its ongoing solid waste planning efforts and advance modern, sustainable approaches to diversion, recycling, processing, and disposal.SWMP seeks concepts that strengthen solid waste system performance via potential methods, technologies, and approaches that can support near- and longâterm sustainability goals, including achieving the zero waste objectives of reducing waste generation by 25% and diverting 90% of waste by 2040.
