The purpose of this requirement is for the acquisition of reagents and consumables required for the Early Detection of Lung Diseases (EDLI) project. These reagents are specifically designed and exclusively compatible with the 10X Genomics Chromium platform, a proprietary system that enables high-resolution gene expression analysis. The EDLI project relies on these reagents to ensure experimental continuity, data accuracy, and reproducibility in studies focused on identifying early biomarkers and understanding the mechanisms of infectious and noninfectious lung diseases. As sole-source items, these reagents cannot be substituted without disrupting ongoing experiments and compromising the integrity of the research.
