Solicitation Amendment #1 PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT The purpose of this Amendment is to: Reopen and extend the quotation submission deadline to maximize competition and establish price reasonableness pursuant to FAR 13.106-3. Authorize and clarify that quotation packages may be submitted directly via email. Provide an opportunity for interested vendors to submit a new or revised firm-fixed-price quotation. EXTENSION OF CLOSING DATE New Quotation Due Date: Monday, 07 September 2026, by 1:00 PM EST. Unless otherwise specified, all other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. If a previous proposal was submitted by the first closing window and no response or revised proposal is received from the bidder on this amendment, the original proposal will be deemed final and binding and evaluated as-is. It is the sole responsibility of the interested party to monitor the solicitation for all modifications. USCGC DILIGENCE TUG SERVICES This synopsis/ solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), and the resultant purchase order will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This requirement is of an unusual and compelling urgency in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The required services are necessary to ensure safety and mission readiness. Delay in award would result in unacceptable risk to government operations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
