Description

Construction of the Lower Croton Road Force Main consists of installation of approximately 3,600 linear feet of various size force main piping installed via open cut, horizontal directional drill (HDD), and jack and bore. Installation of the force main will begin at the capped terminus of the recently-constructed Western Sewer Force Main Phase 1 Project located on the east side of Croton Road at the canal crossing. The force main will extend northward along Croton Road, cross Sarno Road, and end at the northwest corner of the intersection of Croton Road and Sarno Road for future connection to the Upper Croton Road Force Main Project. Work for this project will include but is not limited to the following: installation of 12-inch PVC, 16-inch PVC, 24-inch PVC, 30-inch PVC, 36-inch PVC, and 36-inch force main, fittings, valves, connections, asphalt and sidewalk removal and replacement restoration, clearing and grubbing as needed, restoration of site landscaping, irrigation, roadway, other affected facilities, and necessary maintenance of traffic. NON-MANDATORY A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at 10:00 am on November 3, 2026 at the southern project limit on Croton Road at the canal crossing adjacent to the 2049 Ixora Drive West property.
