<p>The City of Chula Vista is seeking competitive proposals from experienced and qualified individuals or firms to provide professional Unmanned Aerial Systems / Drone as First Responder (UAS/DFR) Program Support with Telepresence Operations services, Tactical/Patrol UAS fleet capabilities, airspace awareness solutions, and Counter-UAS radar detection and mitigation systems. The main focus is to rebuild the City’s existing UAS/DFR program from the ground up through scalable, resilient, reliable, and telepresence driven solutions that improve real-time situational awareness, operational efficiency, and public safety outcomes. The solutions must also be National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant to ensure our UAS/DFR program is sustainable long-term in the current operating environment.</p><p>The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to contract UAS/DFR Program Support services for a multi-year term. The City will evaluate and determine the length of the contract, the need for ongoing services, and at the City’s option the agreement will include an opportunity to renew.</p> <p>The City of Chula Vista is located in southern San Diego County, approximately seven miles north of the international border with Mexico. Chula Vista is the second largest City in the County, the 15th largest in California and the 75th largest City in the United States.
