Addendum 1 Posted ******** The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) invites qualified firms to submit bids for IFB HSR26-34 Unarmed Security Guard Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform 24-hour, seven-day-per-week unarmed vehicle and foot patrol security services at an Authority-owned property in Bakersfield, California, including patrol of parking areas and the property's exterior perimeter. Key Information 1. Small Business Goal: 25% (Inclusive of a 3% Micro Business (MB) participation goal). 2. DVBE Goal: 3% 3. Subject to Wage and Benefit Compliance pursuant to Government Code Section 19134 4. The awarded contractor must submit the required insurance documentation within five (5) calendar days after the contract is forwarded for signature. 5. Due to the critical nature of the services, bidders should be prepared to commence services promptly upon contract execution and receipt of authorization from the Authority. Interested and qualified firms are encouraged to review the solicitation documents and submit a bid in accordance with the IFB requirements. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all solicitation documents and monitoring the Event ID for updates and addenda. Key Dates 1. IFB Release: Friday, October 30, 2026 2. Deadline to submit written questions: Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. 3. Responses to written questions posted by the Authority: Monday, November 9, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. 4. Bids Due: Friday, November 13, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. 5. Bid Opening: Friday, November 13, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. 6.
