Description of Intended Products or Services Provided: To provide annual maintenance and parts for Thermo Electron-Fisher Scientific's Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) and Ion Chromatograph (IC) instruments. Instrumentation utilized for laboratory analyses of pollutants such as nutrients in Collier County's natural water bodies. The Pollution Control section uses this data to assess and protect environmental water quality. It is important that the County invest in maintaining these instruments in order to extend usable life and provide best value for the County.
