Description
The District of Columbia (the “District”) Department of General Services (“DGS”, or “Department”), on behalf of the District of Columbia Department of Corrections (“DOC”), seeks to advance the development of a new, modernized Central Cell Block (“CCB”) facility that meets the District’s operational, security, and service-delivery requirements. To support this objective, the selected Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firm shall conduct a comprehensive feasibility assessment of two potential locations, located at 300 Indiana Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20020, to determine the most advantageous site for the new CCB (the “Project”). This evaluation shall consider operational functionality, site constraints, cost implications, and long-term strategic value.
