Description
Pursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this electronic Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide Professional Water Management Consulting Engineering Services for Commercial Irrigation Monitoring, Technical Support, and CUP Compliance to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this Intake. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to obtain the services of a Professional Water Management Consulting Engineering Firm (PWMCEF). The selected firm would be required to maintain the Public Works computerized central control system, its associated sensors and operational components and ensure the City of Port St. Lucie (PSL) remains in compliance with its South Florida Water Management Districts issued consumptive use permits (CUP’s) and FS373.62(7) irrigation variance. In addition, the (PWMCEF) shall coordinate with PSL on the services of other PSL hired consultants and contractors whose services could directly and/or indirectly impact the (PWMCEF) ability to meet their water management requirements. This includes, but may not be limited to, such services as: Irrigation Installation, service and repair Integrated pest management Landscape maintenance Fertilization Chemical application Performance specifications for each of these PSL consultants and contractors shall be drafted to the mutual agreement of the City of PSL, the PWMCEF and the respective consultant/contractor prior to the start of the PWMCEF’s work. Note: all experience, training and certifications required by this RFQ of the successful water management consulting engineering firm shall be obtained prior to being awarded this contract.
