Description

1.0 INTRODUCTION & PURPOSE The 434th Contracting Flight (434 CONF) at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana, is conducting market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested business sources�specifically targeting small business concerns (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Businesses)�capable of performing a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for planning and market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Quotation (RFQ). No contract will be awarded from this synopsis, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with preparing a response. 2.0 CONTRACT STRUCTURE & SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The Government anticipates awarding a single-award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. Ordering Period: Five (5) years (anticipated as a 1-year base period plus four 1-year option periods). Estimated Total Ceiling Value: $10,000,000 over the 5-year period. Project Range: Individual task orders are anticipated to range from $2,000 to $1,000,000, with an average task order range of $50,000 to $250,000. Place of Performance: All work will be performed on-site at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana, and associated geographically separated units (GSUs) if applicable. 2.1 Scope of Work The SABER contractor will be required to furnish all management, labor, materials, equipment, and design services necessary to execute a broad range of concurrent, non-complex minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
