<p>The Canyon Crest HMPE and CIC Cable Replacement – Area 2 Project consists of the replacement of obsolete HMPE (High Molecular Polyethylene) and CIC (Cable-in-Conduit) type construction with new reliable XLPE cable and conduits. The project will include trenching, conduit installation, and paving in the area east of Chicago Avenue, north of Central Avenue, south of Le Conte Drive, and west of El Cerrito Drive, and the area east of Canyon Crest Drive, south of Hacienda Drive, west of Sycamore canyon Boulevard, and north of Bruin Drive, in the Canyon Crest neighborhood of the City.</p> <p>Any questions, interpretations, or clarifications, either administrative or technical, about this Bid must be submitted via “Q&A” through the City’s Electronic Bidding System, PlanetBids Vendor Portal.</p><p>Any verbal communications will not be considered or responded to. Written communications should be submitted via e-mail the “Q&A” tab through the City’s Electronic Bidding System. Any communications, whether written or verbal, with any City Council member, Mayor, or City staff prior to the release of a notification of intent to award or in any manner other than as directed by City Purchasing Staff, is strictly prohibited and the Contractor shall be disqualified from consideration.</p><p></p>
