Description
The County of Los Angeles Aging and Disabilities Department has issued a request for Letters of Intent (LOI) to identify organizations that may be qualified and interested in providing Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP) services throughout Los Angeles County. LTCOP advocates for the rights, dignity, quality of life, and quality of care of individuals residing in Long Term Care (LTC) facilities. The program works to identify, investigate, and resolve complaints and concerns related to resident rights, care, safety, abuse, neglect, and living conditions; maintains a regular presence in LTC facilities; and provides information, education, and advocacy to residents, families, providers, and the community. This LOI is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation or offer to contract.
