Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Access Control Improvements project at Piedmont Virginia Community College, Main Campus and Eugene Giuseppe Center, Project Code # 260-B4260-021 (M23PV158), located in Charlottesville, Virginia and Stanardsville, Virginia (respectfully). The project is generally described as the installation of new door access controls across multiple buildings to connect to Ownerâs existing control system.The project is separated into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A is work that occurs at the Main Campus located in Charlottesville, Virginia, and shall be reviewed and permitted by the Virginia Department of General Services, Division of Engineering and Building (DEB). Part B is work that occurs at the Eugene Giuseppe Center located in Greene County, Stanardsville, Virginia and shall be reviewed and permitted by the Greene County authority having jurisdiction. The work shall be awarded as one project but shall be separated into Part A and Part B as per the Bid Form included in the Project Manual.Sealed bids will be received electronically through eVA or at Virginia Community College System, Attention: Mrs. Sibyl Roberts, 300 Arboretum Place, Suite 200, Richmond, Virginia 23236, Telephone (804) 819-4918.
