The Connecticut Office of Policy and Management Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division (OPM CJPPD) requests applications from eligible applicants for the State Share of the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP). Byrne SCIP funds to implement state crisis intervention programs or initiatives. A crisis intervention program is one that is focused on identifying risk and intervening before harm occurs, rather than in response to a crime already committed.
