Description
The City of Murrieta Finance Department is seeking proposals from highly qualified and experienced firms to provide comprehensive sales, use, and transaction tax audit and analysis services. The selected firm will collect and analyze sales and use tax data, conduct audits to identify and recover misallocated tax revenue, prepare and deliver quarterly and annual reports, and provide ongoing revenue analysis and forecasting support. The primary objective of this request for proposal (RFP) is to obtain the most efficient, high-quality services at the most reasonable cost. The City plans to establish a three (3) year contract with the option of two (2) additional one (1) year extensions, effective upon approval of the City Council.
