Natural Resources Conservation Program Technical Support Services -U.S. Army Garrison Italy, Darby Military Community (DMC), Livorno, Italy 1. Notice Type and Purpose This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Department of War (DoW), U.S. Army Garrison Italy, Darby Military Community (DMC), for market-research and acquisition-planning purposes only. The Government is seeking information from capable and interested businesses that can provide non-personal natural-resources conservation program technical support services for DMC in Livorno, Italy. This notice is not a solicitation, request for proposal, request for quotation, invitation for bid, or commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for preparation of responses or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Responses will be used solely to conduct market research, assess the availability of qualified sources, support acquisition planning, evaluate potential small-business participation, refine the anticipated scope, evaluate industry interest in an Industry Engagement Day, and determine the final acquisition strategy. The Government seeks responses from all responsible business concerns, including small businesses and businesses participating in applicable socioeconomic programs. 2. Anticipated Requirement The Government is conducting market research to identify firms capable of providing qualified personnel, technical expertise, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies, and incidental services necessary to provide natural-resources conservation technical support.
