SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR NSN: 6920-01-164-9625 This is a Sources Sought Notice only. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the requirements for a Mannequin Target. Interested contractors are requested to review the description below carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The intent of this sources sought notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under a contract. NSN 3940-01-341-4426 is manufactured as follows: COLOR EXCEPTION: 24070 I/A/W SPECIFICATION DRAWING 9363146 WILL BE USED DRAWING EXCEPTION: Drawing 11829332 tolerance for two place decimal value is +/- .03 PACKAGING EXCEPTIONS: MIL STD 129 LABLES U/I IS BOX U/I CONTAINS 35 PER BOX ENGINEERING EXCEPTIONS: Distribution Statement "A" applies to all drawings and associated documents in the TDP. Quality: Document DELETE REPLACE WITH QS, Pg1 MIL-STD-105 MIL-STD-1916 SAMPLING PROCEDURES DOD PREFERRED METHODS AND TABLES FOR FOR ACCEPTANCE OF INSPECTION BY PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE MIL-STD-1916, DOD PREFERRED METHODS OF ACCEPTANCE OF PRODUCT. THE VERIFICATION LEVEL (VL) SHALL BE VL III IN LIEU OF AQL OF .65, FOR MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS AND VL II IN LIEU OF AQL 1.5 AND IN LIEU OF AQL OF 2.5 FORMINOR CHARACTERISTICS.
