Brand name Panasonic Toughbook, Ruggedized INTRODUCTION The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide Toughbook, ruggedized to support a foreign partner system. This action is in support of an amendment the country has requested. SAMD is seeking to see if there are contractors that can provide this item and how much it will cost. The information they learn from this Market Research will allow them to eventually write an LOA line for this item if responses are received. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this source sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
