<p>1.01 PROJECT OVERVIEW</p><p>A. Perform the following Electrical Studies for the electrical power system in accordance with the Contract Document. The following studies will be referred to as Electrical Studies: Short Circuit Study, Load Flow Study, Equipment Evaluation Study, Coordination Study, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis and Mitigation Report, and Protective Relaying Device Analysis. The Electrical Studies shall be using the latest version of SKM Systems Analysis, Inc., Power Tools for Windows (PTW) software programs.</p><p>B. The Engineering Firm shall perform a full electrical study or a Five-Year Review for DOU facilities.</p><p>1. A Full Electrical Study will be conducted as specified in these specifications and include data collection and the creation of all SKM files. A full electrical study will require all work listed in 1.01A.</p><p>2. The Five-Year Review Study will be conducted as specified in these specifications with the exception of data collection. The City will provide the existing SKM files for each facility where a Five-Year Review will be conducted. The City will verify the validity of the single line provided and the overcurrent protective devices. The City will provide all data collection. A five-year electrical study will require all work listed in 1.01A.</p><p>C. Provide an electronic copy of the electrical studies on USB or shared drive. In addition, electronic files shall include all SKM files, library backup files, and all scenarios used to create the study.</p> <p></p>
