This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order with only one source, Sirtex Medical Inc. This procurement is for the purchase and delivery of SIR-Spheres Y90 Resin Microspheres for Bay Pines VA Health Care System. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102(a), only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is available to meet its requirements due to the unique, specialized, and proprietary nature of the required supplies. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only source available that can provide the SIR-Spheres Y90 Resin Microspheres and Accessory Kits and meet the agency s needs. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. If the respondent is not the manufacturer, evidence of its authorization to distribute the required products must be provided, if applicable.
