Gilbane Building Company, Construction Manager for the 7th & College Street Parking Deck for Mecklenburg County, is soliciting BIDS from Prequalified subcontractors interested in bidding the attached scopes of work. The project includes demolition of an existing structure and construction of a 263 space urban parking deck with elevators, egress stairwells, emergency generators, fire pump, and approximately 7,000 SF of retail shell space along 7th Street. Streetscape improvements to 7th Street are also included. Construction duration is anticipated to be approximately 12 months, subject to change based on Construction Drawings release.
