The Florida Department of Transportation requests competitive sealed bids, proposals, or replies (as indicated in the solicitation) for the procurement of D4-D6 MATERIALS AND RESEARCH OFFICE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE Works includes the services of a certified licensed and insured Fire Alarm Contractor to perform fire alarm system modernization and code compliance upgrades to the Department’s existing Fire Alarm system located at the site in Davie. CONTRACT NO.: F4012 FINANCIAL PROJECT NO.: 456226-1-52-01 & Various PROJECT DESCRIPTION: D4-D6 MATERIALS AND RESEARCH OFFICE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE FIXED CAPITAL OUTLAY: PROJECT LEVEL 2 CONTRACT DAYS: 180 ESTIMATED BUDGET: $150,000.00 A MANDATORY PRE-BID – Site Visit Meeting to be held at the following location, date and local time: Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 10:30 am Florida Department of Transportation, D4 – D6 MATERIALS AND RESEARCH OFFICE located at 14200 W State Road 84, Davie, Florida 33325 BID PROPOSAL: Bids must be delivered to Florida Department of Transportation- District Four, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, by (or before) Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 am (EST). Bids must submit in full accordance with the requirements of the Specifications, Bidding Conditions, and Contractual Conditions, attached to this email. PUBLIC MEETING BID OPENING: Bids will be OPEN at Florida Department of Transportation-District Four, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:30 am (EST).
