Carson City invites qualified firms to submit sealed bids for the below referenced project. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications, and special conditions related hereto. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division agreed to adoption of Nevada’s prevailing wage rates for Davis-Bacon Highway, Heavy, and Building Wage Determinations. Therefore, CC-BID-14 Wage Comparison Worksheet.xlsx is no longer required and not included with this solicitation. NOTE: This project is federally funded by the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act (SNPLMA). Project #G504725002 CC-2027-069 Federal Grant #: L24AC00228 Corrected Engineers Estimate: $1,370,409 PROJECT TYPE This project is deemed a horizontal construction project. Summary: Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing parking area and protection of existing monuments located at the Korean War Veterans Memorial at the trailhead. New development includes an upgraded parking area, prefabricated restroom and shade structure installation, concrete picnic areas and walkways, re-vegetation of disturbed areas and connection to existing walking trails. The site will be serviced by existing utilities in the area. The contractor will be responsible for SWPPP preparation and execution.
