The Army Contracting Command � Redstone Arsenal is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify manufacturing capacity and capability for production of Precision Strike Missile Increment 1 (PrSM Inc 1) follow-on production contract to support the Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential firms capable of providing the supplies described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this Sources Sought Notice. This does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. BACKGROUND PrSM Inc 1 is a next-generation, long-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile, with launcher compatibility on M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems platforms. The purpose of this source sought notice is to conduct market research to identify potential sources with capacity and capability to produce the PrSM Inc 1 missile and pod. TECHNICAL DATA The Government retains Data Rights to Technical Data down to the Line-Replaceable Unit level and is available upon request. Technical Data is Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Distro D/CUI, even though the data is only CUI, to receive this information, the requestee is required to have a SECRET clearance.
