Copies of the Project Manual and Drawings are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://projectbids.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 10:00AM CT on September 10, 2026, at the Johnson County New Century Adult Detention Center (NCADC) located at 27745 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather in the visitor parking lot. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on September 17, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid.
