Description
The Philadelphia Department of Public Health's Injury Prevention Program is seeking proposals for initiatives that support strategic priority areas that aim to enhance the city's violence intervention and prevention ecosystem through: 1) implementation of local Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) and participation in the Philadelphia HVIP Collaborative, or 2) supporting the development of, or addressing recommendations emerging from, the Philadelphia Violence Reduction Council (VRC). These initiatives must support the program's goals of improving the provision of community services and addressing the social determinants of health to strengthen protective factors to reduce and prevent violent injury.
