The Fayette County Commission invites sealed bids to furnish and install the emergency equipment listed below in 8 Dodge Durango Pursuit Police Package vehicles for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department. The vehicles are purchased separately. This purchase may use grant funds; award depends on funding and Commission approval. Submission Mail or deliver one original and one copy in a sealed envelope marked “Sheriff’s Department Durango Equipment Bid” to: Fayette County Commission, P.O. Box 307, Fayetteville, WV 25840, Attn: Ruth Lanier. Bids must be received by the deadline; postmarks do not count. Bids will be considered at the Commission meeting on November 18, 2026. Requirements · Equipment new and vehicle-specific; equal items accepted with a spec sheet, at the County’s discretion · Price includes all wiring, hardware, shipping, and delivery; no sales tax · One-year installation workmanship warranty; installation must not void the vehicle warranty · Vendor carries liability and garage keepers insurance while County vehicles are in its care · Prices firm for 90 days; payment after installation and acceptance The County will award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and may award equipment only, equipment with installation, or reject any or all bids.
