Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation is not available at this time, and proposals submitted in response to this notice will not be accepted. The U.S. Embassy Singapore intends to issue a solicitation for a professional inspection and assessment of the roof truss system at a U.S. Government-owned residence in Singapore. The solicitation will include the complete scope of work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and applicable terms and conditions. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. The Government may award the contract based on initial proposals without conducting discussions. A site visit and preproposal conference are anticipated. The date, time, location, registration procedures, and access requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted on SAM.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for the solicitation, amendments, and other information related to this acquisition. Offerors must maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov when submitting an offer and at the time of contract award. SAM registration is free. Prospective offerors are encouraged to begin the registration process early because registration may take several weeks to complete. Registration assistance is available through the Federal Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov Because contract performance will take place in Singapore, the contractor, including any subcontractor or joint venture partner that will perform the work, must be legally authorized to operate and do business in Singapore and must possess all licenses, permits, registrations, and professional qualifications required to perform the work. The contractor must comply with all applicable Singapore laws and regulations throughout contract performance.
