Description
<p>The City of Sacramento (City) is proposing to construct full trash capture systems as part of the Trash Full Capture Project (project) within the greater Sacramento area to comply with the Central Valley Regional Water Board’s (Water Board) requirements to prevent the discharge of trash greater than five millimeters (5mm) into receiving waters through the implementation of certified Full Capture Systems. This project intends to provide full trash capture within the designated watershed, Site 144 at the Interstate 80 (I-80) North Ditch approximately 170 feet east of the intersection of Phillipi Way and Rio Linda Boulevard. This project includes the installation of a Water Board certified, manufacturer-prefabricated trash capture system located offline from the I-80 North Ditch, along with a mechanically operated weir system <span style="color: black">in the drainage channel. Among </span>the construction components include concrete structures installation, asphalt concrete paving, earthwork, and associated improvements.</p> <p></p>
