The City of Fort Valley, Georgia, through Danny Lamonte of Municipal Central LLC acting on the City's behalf, invites sealed bids submitted by email for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), spare cylinders with valves, and facepieces for the Fort Valley Fire Department. Quantities: 11 SCBA packs, 11 spare carbon-fiber 4,500 psig 45-minute cylinders with valves, and 15 facepieces (size Medium), plus an optional second set of 11 cylinders. Two-tier bid: Tier 1 - NEW equipment (3M Scott Air-Pak X3 Pro or approved equal, NFPA 1981/1982 2018, Snap-Change, SEMS II Pro); Tier 2 - professionally REFURBISHED, tested and certified equipment (3M Scott X3 platform or approved equal, minimum 2-year warranty). The City will award one tier only. Funded with Peach County SPLOST 2008 (Public Safety Equipment); SPLOST, E-Verify, drug-free workplace, and non-collusion requirements apply. Bids are due Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern and must be emailed to dlamonte@fortvalleyga.org with subject line "BID - RFB No. FVFD-2026-01 - FIRE DEPARTMENT SCBA".
