Description
CAT is seeking to procure a suite of services that can be provided by a CAD/AVL system and related ITS Components. Replacement of the current system will allow CAT to continue to operate as safely and efficiently as possible. The new ITS solutions should be cloud-based, turnkey, and maintained by the Contractor. With a small staff, CAT has limited human capital to invest in its systems. This system is intended to assist in dispatch functions, provide operators on-board knowledge, and provide reports detailing the performance of the transit system. Our goal is to create a competitive procurement that allows CAT the flexibility to compose a fluid and competent ITS system that meets the specific needs of our agency’s operations and riders.
