Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 31140PR260000197 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for Servoturn 410 NC Conventional Lathe, brand name or equal. The NAICS Code is 333243. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard is 550 employees. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. USCG Base Kodiak, Kodiak, AK, has a requirement (brand name or equal) for: QTY 1 SKU 470546 Servoturn 410 NC Conventional Lathe. To be considered equal, the following salient characteristic must be present: Power Supply 460vac, 3ph, 20amp; power cross-slide feed and longitudinal and pass through chuck; similar size, purpose and function; similar working area, threading measurements, travels, spindle speed, bore, mount; and product durability. Offerors proposing equal products shall submit sufficient technical documentation, including manufacturer specifications, model numbers, compatibility information, and product literature, to demonstrate that the proposed products meet or exceed the stated salient characteristics. Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in the proposed equal product being determined technically unacceptable.
