Yavapai County is seeking Request for Qualifications for University Building Evaluation, Reconditioning, and Tenant Improvements .Qualifications are due no later than 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026 . This is a qualifications-based selection process as authorized by A.R.S. § 34-603. Yavapai County seeks qualifications from a Design‑Build team to evaluate existing building conditions, identify deficiencies, develop design solutions, and perform all construction work necessary to restore the facility to safe, code‑compliant, fully functional use. The Design‑Build team will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of architectural, structural, life‑safety, environmental, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and site conditions and for providing complete design and construction services to address all required repairs, upgrades, and improvements. The County anticipates the Design-Build team will include a General Contractor and Architect who are appropriately licensed to perform all expected divisions of work. We expect the Design-Build team to work jointly on the development and execution of all phases of the Project. Throughout this Project, the County expects that the Design-Build team to conduct regular meetings to provide updates and status of the Project. Payment terms will be pursuant to the awarded Contract. Yavapai County will execute this project in 3 phases – Phase 1: Evaluation, Phase 2: Reconditioning, and Phase 3: Tenant Improvements. The County anticipates awarding this project as a single contract with the scope, schedule, and cost of each phase being negotiated separately.
