WMD intends to establish and award a contract for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite internet data service and associated hardware to support the Washington State Emergency Management Division's All-Hazard Alert Broadcast (AHAB) siren network, State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) field operations, continuity communications, and other WMD satellite connectivity needs as they arise during the contract term.
