<p>The City of Huntington Beach (City) Public Works Department is soliciting Requests for Quote (RFQ) from qualified firms / contractors / vendors with experience to provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform janitorial, day porter, and related janitorial services for City Hall, the Police Department, Police substations, and Police Heliport Offices. City Hall and the Police Department are located at 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, California 92648. The Police substations and Police Heliport Offices included in this RFQ are identified in Exhibit A, Scope of Work.</p><p></p><p><strong>Note</strong>: The Public Works Department intends to award two (2) separate three (3) year service agreements at or around the same time for the following two facility groups: 1) Civic Center Janitorial and 2) City Yards Janitorial. Both Public Works janitorial RFQ’s will be posted separately on PlanetBids with the same schedule of events and mandatory pre-bid meetings, but with different site visit schedules. Potential vendors are encouraged to review both Public Works janitorial RFQ’s posted on PlanetBids. Firms are invited to <u>submit a quote for one or both</u> Public Works janitorial RFQ’s posted on PlanetBids. The <u>City intends to select two separate vendors</u> to provide janitorial services to the Civic Center and City Yards facilities. The two (2) successful vendors must provide dedicated staff to the Public Works contracts and cannot share (pull away) janitorial staff that are working at other City facilities. The City reserves the right to cancel, amend, modify, and/or redistribute buildings and/or services needed for one or both Public Works janitorial RFQ’s, if determined to be in the best interest of the City, for any reason.</p> <p></p>
