<p>Description of Work</p><p>A. Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to</p><p>the completion of the project known as City of Sunnyvale Cleanwater Center and Perimeter Wall</p><p>Project, Public Works Project No. UY-19-02, consisting of site work including new perimeter flood</p><p>wall, remediation and demolition of existing administrative building, temporary trailers, construction</p><p>of new ~30,000 sf administrative, laboratory and maintenance building (Cleanwater Center and</p><p>Perimeter Wall) within the Water Pollution Control Plant boundaries. The new Perimeter Flood Wall</p><p>consists of a “Joint Wall” and the remainder of the wall which is not a part of the “Joint Wall”. The</p><p>limits of the Joint Wall are identified on the drawings and involves creating a detour for the Bay Trail</p><p>and abiding by Bay Conservation and Development Commission permit requirements. The Joint</p><p>Wall costs will be shared “jointly” with Santa Clara Valley Water (VW) per an agreement between</p><p>VW and the City of Sunnyvale that includes schedule commitments. The contractor shall construct</p><p>this wall in its entirety but note that liquidated damages are specified separately for the Joint Wall</p><p>under a partial NTP.</p><p></p><p>B. The two-story Cleanwater Center (CWC) has been designed to meet the U.S. Green Building</p><p>Council LEED Gold equivalency. The CWC will replace the existing administration building.</p><p></p><p>C. Additional project scope items include landscaping, site and roadway improvements within the</p><p>WPCP, along Carl Road, and at the Recycle Yard. The project also involves site utility relocations,</p><p>temporary facilities complex improvements to house staff during construction, and information</p><p>technology (IT) and networking improvements.
