NON-COMPETITIVE COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION Title: Digital Anatomy Printer Solicitation No.: 75N98026Q01221 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 75N98026Q01221. This solicitation is issued as a Notice of Intent (NOI) for a non-competitive acquisition and is intended to result in the award of a purchase order without providing for full and open competition. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, intends to negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order on a non-competitive basis to: Stratasys, Inc. 5995 Opus Parkway Minnetonka, MN 55343 for a Stratasys J850 Digital Anatomy� 3D Printer, including associated equipment, proprietary software, materials, accessories, and related services. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The NIH requires a specialized multi-material additive manufacturing system capable of producing highly realistic anatomical models for research, scientific investigation, medical modeling, training, device development, and related activities. The required system is the Stratasys J850 Digital Anatomy� 3D Printer, a multi-material PolyJet additive manufacturing platform specifically designed for the production of realistic anatomical models. The system is capable of producing complex anatomical structures incorporating varying visual, physical, and biomechanical characteristics intended to simulate selected properties of human tissue and bone.
