NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BID NO. BDC10-26/27 The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below. PROJECT NAME : Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park – Education Center Roof Replacement BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE : No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Wednesday, October 28th, 2026 , to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000, Attention: Logan Lee-Marple, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2519. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. BID POSTING DATE : No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Wednesday, November 4th, 2026 , unless extended by the Department for good cause. INSTRUCTIONS : Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday, October 8th, 2026 . Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us . SCOPE OF WORK : Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to replace the roof on the Education Center per the contract documents. Builders Risk is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. To request a pre-qualification letter, the bidder should email BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us . If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.
