Description
The work to be done is to provide all labor and equipment necessary to complete the listed below and in assisting the Water Department with repairing, modifying and/or improving their dam system. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: • Soil ripping & re-compaction of soil on top of dams • Excavation and slope repair of an existing slope due to soil erosion • Excavation and re-grading of an existing 2:1 slope • Reconditioning parts of dirt access roads, and installation of Class 2 AB. • Excavation, compaction of fill material in the repair of soil erosion at of base of dam • Excavation and filling of rodent holes in dam • Installation of soil erosion control measures on small slope • Clearing slope vegetation, clearing brush and cutting of selected tree limbs • Excavation and grade of drainage swales • Remove existing concrete vertical curb and grade channel along spillway. • SWPPP Permit (State issued: NOI) • California Clean Water Quality Control Permit (City Water Department Review) • Traffic Control Submittal (City PW Department Review) • Clean and grubbing of existing soils • Reconstruction of parts of existing paved and non-paved access roads. • Excavate and grade drainage ditch along spillway wall • Installation of erosion control measures • Installation of Erosion control measures • Repair of dam • Construction of small gravity retaining walls • Grading and excavation of access roads Specific Tasks at Lake Curry Dam Site location include: • Remove existing vegetation, rip top of dam, recompact and install road base to repair surface cracks on top of dam. • Cut back and regrade west slope of spillway, excavate and grade 3-3’ wide drainage swales along west slope of spillway to control slope drainage. • Remove existing concrete vertical curb, excavate and grade 2’ wide drainage channel along west side of spillway. • Remove and recompact any existing rodent holes on dam. • Install erosion control measures in newly graded sloped areas …
