Description
<p>The City of Ontario is seeking proposals for the work to be performed under this contract consisting of, but is not limited to, furnish and install traffic signal battery back -up units, traffic signal cabinets, traffic signal side mount cabinets, retroreflective yellow back plates, and any other traffic signal & communications equipment as necessary to complete the improvements as described in the Plans and Specifications for Contract No. TR2702. The Contractor shall furnish all transportation, materials, tools, time, equipment, labor and supplies to complete the improvements, together with the appurtenant work necessary or incidental to complete, in a workmanlike manner, the improvements as contemplated and as intended by the Plans and these Technical Specifications.</p> <p>Please see Plans, Technical Specifications and Contract Documents for more detailed information. Bidder must attach a pdf file(s) to the electronic bid submission containing all of the completed and signed Bid Documents. Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each for 100% of the total bid amount. No substitution will be considered unless written request for approval has been received by the City by "insert field here". Such requests shall include the name of the material or equipment for proposed substitution including drawings, performance and test data, and other information necessary for an evaluation. A statement setting forth changes in other materials, equipment or other portions of the work including changes in the work prompted by the substitution shall be included. The burden of proof of the merit of the proposed substitution is upon the proposer. The City’s decision of approval or disapproval of a proposed substitution shall be final.
