Description
The City of Houston is seeking a local, brick and mortar, Texas licensed food vendor with a current food handler certification, to participate in the Houston Meals for the Elderly (HoME) program. The goal of the project this year is to deliver between 2,000 and 2,500 hot “individual packaged Holiday meals” on Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2026) to individuals who are 60 years and older, live in Harris County and who would have difficulty obtaining a meal on their own.
