Description
The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management (DWM), will shortly undergo a MultiStep Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB), towards the procurement of a qualified Progressive Design-Builder to provide design, preconstruction, and construction services for the Peachtree Raw Water Pump Station (PRWPS) improvements. The scope includes, but is not limited to, rehabilitation and replacement of existing pumps, improvements to Pump Buildings 1 and 2, electrical distribution system improvements, evaluation of raw water main alternatives, and development of a dedicated raw water main serving Pumps 1 and 2. Interested firms during the prequalification phase must demonstrate experience and capacity successfully delivering Progressive Design-Build or comparable water infrastructure projects, including the professional design and engineering expertise, construction capabilities, staffing, project management, and resources necessary to perform work of similar size, scope, and complexity. Firms must demonstrate the ability to coordinate design and construction activities, advance the project design, perform constructability and cost evaluations, and support development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) prior to construction. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide more details and address questions. We hope to see you there.
