Description
The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for: Northside Splashpad Bid proposals must be submitted electronically through the City of St. Joseph's electronic bidding system as it helps to expedite the bidding process and alleviate errors. No paper, emailed, or faxed submissions will be accepted. A mandatory prebid conference will be held on October 8, 2026 at 10:00 am, at City Hall 4th Floor Conference Room in St. Joseph, MO. The Work generally consists of the construction of a new splashpad at the Northside Complex Bid will be received on a Lump Sum basis. Bid security in the amount of Five Percent (5%) is required. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Maintenance Bond and a Payment Bond on the forms set forth in the Contract Documents as security for the faithful performance of, and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of, the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the City to make an award to that Bidder. The City also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bidders will be required to comply with the following requirements: Wage Rates Equal Opportunity in Employment All other applicable Laws and terms and conditions set forth in the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction Nondiscrimination in Employment. Bidders on this Work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for Bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Specifications.
