Description

The Houston Airport System is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of commercial laminated wood doors, aluminum door frames, hinges, and associated materials in accordance with the specifications listed below. All materials shall be new, unused, commercial grade, and suitable for institutional/facility applications. Detailed Solicitation Requirements Wood Doors Size: 3'-0" x 8'-0" (3080) Configuration: 4-panel / 4-face (4 F) Hand: Right Hand (RH) Construction: Laminated wood Edges: Laminate edges Designation: MB (BEST) Quantity: 4 doors Doors shall be suitable for commercial/institutional use. Door construction shall be compatible with the specified aluminum frames and hardware. Aluminum Frames Size: 3080 Configuration: 4 RH Wall thickness: 4-7/8" Frame type: Type 2 Construction: Knock-Down (KD) Quantity: 4 frames Frames shall be compatible with the specified 3'-0" x 8'-0" wood doors and hinge requirements. Hinges Manufacturer/Model: BB1100 Size: 4.5" x 4.5" Finish: 26D Type: NRP Quantity: 16 hinges Provide four hinges per door unless otherwise required by the manufacturer's installation requirements. Laminate Laminate: WA 7911-60 Color/Pattern: Manitoba Maple Laminate shall be applied to the door faces and edges as specified. All doors shall have a consistent laminate color/pattern and finish. Vendor shall identify the laminate manufacturer and confirm that the quoted material corresponds to WA 7911-60 – Manitoba Maple .
